Can You Dig It? Game!
Join us for a month-long web promotion beginning April 1. “Dig” for prizes every day with a virtual shovel into 1 of 20 virtual “dirt piles” in hopes of finding a prize notification underneath. Over $5000 in prizes during the month. Users may return to www.Safedigging.me each day for another chance to win until April 30.
The promotion allows visitors one dig per day. However, bonus questions are included as well, to not only give users the ability to learn more about Call 811 and the importance of safe digging, but also to earn an extra “dig” to double a user’s chances of winning a prize every day. Be careful! Dig in the wrong area and you could hit a water, gas, power, phone or sewer line, resulting in no prize for that particular day. Lucky diggers have the chance to win an iPad Mini, Kindle Fire HD, Apple TV, Jawbone JAMBOX, iPod Shuffle, Samsung Chromebook, XBox 360, Sony Cybershot WX50, Call 811 shirts and mugs and gift cards from VISA, iTunes, Amazon and Starbucks. Call 8-1-1 before starting any digging project.
School Tree Plantings
During the month of April, we like to education students about the importance of safe digging as well. If you know a school teacher who would be interested in a safe digging demonstration and tree planting at their school, please contact us or fill out the form below.
