South Carolina 811 staff attend a number of events, conventions, trade shows and community events throughout the state to promote 811 and damage prevention. If you would like information about any upcoming events or would like to invite SC811 to attend an event, please contact marketing at marketing@sc811.com

SC811 is not able to attend all of the events listed on the calendar, but we encourage you to attend the events that are related to your industry and in your area.

Upcoming events 

SC811 will be presenting an Underground Simulated Emergency (U.S.E.) event, Friday October 13th, 9:00am-2:00pm. There will be a training session and a live underground simulated emergency situation in an effort to promote safety, public awareness, and damage prevention.

The South Carolina Association of Special Purpose Districts (SCSPD) serves as a statewide membership organization that educates citizens about the role of SPDs, and preserves the political, fiscal, and operational integrity of the state’s SPDs. We help inform the public, local officials, and lawmakers about the function, duties, responsibilities, and concerns of the state’s SPDs. The 2023 Annual Educational Conference will be held October 18-20 at The Embassy Suites Kingston Plantation in Myrtle Beach, SC.
